THE ARREST WAS POSSIBLE AFTER HIMACHAL PRADESH POLICE IN COORDINATION WITH DELHI POLICE ARRESTED HIM.TWO DAYS AGO, A WOMAN HAS BEEN SHOT DEAD IN KASAULI BY A HOTELIER. THE WOMAN WAS PART OF THE TEAM WHO HAD COME TO REMOVE THE ENCROACHMENTS MADE BY HOTEL OWNERS.
Vijay was nabbed from up mathura, where he had changed his appearance, had sheared off his hair and moustache so that he remained unrecognisable.
The victim was Shailwala Sharma, assistant town and country planner, Solan. Another man, a labourer was also injured and reportedly shifted to PGI, Chandigarh. The culprit immediately fled the scene after committing the crime.
The bullet had pierced Shailwala’s back and came out piercing her heart.
A day later, Supreme Court in a curt order said that if the state government’s cannot carry out our orders, then we might as well stop issuing such orders.

The Supreme Court has time and again observed that the illegal encroachment was endangering the entire town, causing landslides. It had also observed that the lives of people there can’t be be put to risk in order to mint money.
“You just demolish it (unauthorised constructions). What is going on? You are admitting that you were supposed to make only a two-storeyed building. There was a landslide in your premises and you did nothing. You are putting people in danger. For what? Money,” the bench observed, while hearing the plea filed by one of the hotels.
“You demolish it. You are admitting that there are unauthorised constructions,” the bench observed and directed the authorities concerned to demolish it. When one of the counsel referred to an apex court order in a matter related to Manali in Himachal Pradesh, the bench said, “Either you demolish it (unauthorised constructions) or we will ask the authorities to demolish it. It is your choice. No instructions are needed. Let the authorities demolish it.”
