Srivasa Pandita, or Srivasa Thakura, was a member of the Pancha-tattva, consisting of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and His four immediate expansions and energies. Every night, Mahaprabhu and His associates would chant the names of Krishna and dance in Srivasa Pandita’s house. Srivasa Pandita never made any effort to support himself or his dependents. Because of his full dedication to Mahaprabhu and His mission, the Lord provided for all his needs.

Srivasa Thakura is mentioned in the Pancha-Tattva mantra, which Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s devotees often chant:

shri krishna chaitanya, prabhu nityananda, shri advaita, gadadhara
srivasadi-gaura-bhakta-vrinda:

“I offer my obeisances to Sri Krishna Chaitanya, Prabhu Nityananda, Sri Advaita, Gadadhara, Srivasa, and all others in the line of devotion.”

Srivasa Thakur is none other than Narada Muni himself! 😊 🙏
